Weird things happen … could be side effects of acupuncture?

I went to see an acupuncturist last Thursday by some health problems I had (bladder issues, pelvic pain, fibromyalgia, permanent nausea and anxiety) and since then my stomach has felt almost bloated, and my anxiety level was through the roof. The needles are placed in the ankle / foot area, wrists and stomach. Has anyone had an experience like this before? My problem is getting worse due to acupuncture or worse before better? If so, how long will it take for this to calm down!? (In general …) I can not live like that !!!!!

I believe that the needles can be reused in another patient and who knows what? If the acupuncturist uses disposable needles then it is a different situation.

I was recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I also have rheumatoid arthritis. I am 32 year old mother of two. My rheumatologist perscribed Lyrica, but the insurance co. refuses to cover, even in the written request of the doctor! (I do not say that!) Are there any medications that someone has already tried what they think works in pain? Darvocet, but I rarely take it because I need to work really well does not help much. They gave me some tramadol for seven years for all the pain in my body that was termed "fibromyalgia." Since that time I have become addicted to it and can not stop it without having to go through withdrawal. If I can not get it, like a drug addict, I would almost anything. Now I'm not functional at all without it. Has anyone else ever been there with this problem and how did you get? I've been pretty consistent in two tablets 50 mg three times daily to work and be "normal." The withdrawal is horrible – After only a few hours of missing a dose. I have pain, fever, sweating, sleep, electric shocks to my body, headache, nausea, diarrhea, etc. ..
